Step 2: Download Ubuntu Server

1. Visit the official Ubuntu Server download page:

2. Download the following version:

• Ubuntu Server 24.04.2 LTS

3. What is LTS?

• Long Term Support — 5 years of free security and maintenance updates.

4. What is an ISO file?

• A full image of the operating system installer.
• You will write this file to a USB stick to create a bootable installer.
